It’s pretty safe to assume that I am one of the biggest Audrey Hepburn fans - ever. Not only was she incredibly stunning, but Hepburn could back up her looks with great poise and a certain joie de vivre that is as rare as it is admirable.
Her style sense was just the cherry on top.
Now, imagine my delight upon hearing about a new children’s book titled Just Being Audrey. Written by Margaret Cardillo, the 34-page book is aimed at giving young children a peep into Hepburn’s life and achievements. I can think of no better role model.
Perhaps the best part of the whole project are the beautiful illustrations by Julia Denos. What I wouldn’t give to have one - or ten - blown up and displayed around the house.
Despite it being catered to kids, Just Being Audrey will soon make its way onto my coffee table. And with proud and prominent placement to boot.
